After much thought and discussion, we've decided to name our puppy..... Gracie B. or Grace E.B. the spelling is still up in the air (see new poll on the top right to vote).
Gracie (Grace of God, gift of God) was Conor's pick - we all loved it the moment it left his lips. And how appropriate that our gifts of God came to an immediate agreement, completely on their own (something that is very rare).
The "B" stands for all the almost names (Buttercup, Butterscotch, Bailey, Betty Boop, there's more). But above all, it stands for "Biscuit". This was Lauren's first choice, but she decided she liked Gracie better as a first name and Biscuit is just as cute as a middle.
Regarding the spelling, if we decide on E.B., it would obviously be in honor of E.B. White, author of Charlotte's Web and one of Conor and Lauren's favorite movies (working on the book). Lauren's best animal, Piggy, emerged after the viewing and is with her always (there are Wilbur's in her collection, none of which are pigs). The "B" would still represent "Biscuit" - Lauren wants to make that clear!
