Over the weekend, we decided that it was finally time to add a real pet to our family. It's really long over due.
Our summer was surrounded with animals, especially dogs - my parents have 2 plus a boarder and then there's Susan and Brian's pooches. We pretty much fell in love with Sophie, Susan's cute puppy, so we decided to focus on Goldendoodles (the low shed factor is such a plus).
This sweet girl had our hearts immediately, she sought us out too - so the decision was quick!
We're now kicking around names, gathering supplies and trying to puppy proof the house. If anyone has training tips, please pass them my way. We're watching "The Dog Whisperer" daily.

She is so sweet, Did you pick out a name yet? Beer names or alcohol names are always fun, (Barley, Amber, to name a few) Ted wanted to name our dog Heidi, immediatly that got Vetoed. Have fun with Your new baby, Make sure you are stocked up on the PET STAIN remover!!!!! Love EM
